alphaTab is designed to be embedded. When the shipped defaults are not enough, you can build scores in code, walk and mutate the loaded model, wire the worker and worklet into your own bundler, or host the engine in a native UI framework it does not already know about.

Every capability below is available on Web, .NET, and Android unless a card names specific platforms. Follow any card into the reference for the exact signature.

Model manipulation

Build a score from scratch in code, or walk the loaded tree and rewrite it — transpositions, per-note coloring, generated etudes, warm-up exercises on the fly.

Programmatic score construction

Instantiate the alphaTab model classes directly and render a score built entirely in code — no importer, no source file.

Traversing and mutating the model

Walk the loaded score tree — tracks, staves, bars, voices, beats, notes — and apply changes before or after render.

Custom bundling & workers

Wire the Web Worker and Audio Worklet by hand for bundlers alphaTab does not ship a plugin for — esbuild, Rollup, Parcel, or a bespoke pipeline.

Worker and worklet initialization

`initializeMain`, `initializeWorker`, `initializeAudioWorklet` and the core, worker and worklet exports for custom setups.

Custom bundler integration

Bundle alphaTab with esbuild, Rollup, Parcel or another bundler without an alphaTab plugin.

Native platform hosting

Embed alphaTab in native applications: Android views, WPF and WinForms controls, or any framework it has no shipped host for via the `IUiFacade` contract.
